Terms and refunds

Who supplies Clippa
Clippa is supplied by Carlo Fardella trading as Sugata Software, Perth, Western Australia. Contact support@clippa.com.au for purchase, licence or software support.
Your licence
A purchase gives you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence for the edition and major version purchased, on one machine per seat. Desktop removes the export watermark. Studio also removes the 30-second recording and video-export limit. Minor updates within your purchased major version are included; a future major version may require a new purchase.
Seats attach to the email entered before checkout. Registration requires a six digit code sent to that address. You can move a seat by releasing it in the app, then registering another machine. Contact support if the old machine is unavailable. You must have permission to capture the material you record.
The app confirms its licence online every 30 days, with 60 days of grace after a missed check-in. It returns to its unregistered limits if confirmation remains unavailable. Your purchased seat remains yours and can be registered again.
Prices and payment
Website prices are in US dollars, per seat, for a one-time purchase. Volume pricing is graduated: each price applies only to seats within that bracket. Applicable tax and any local currency offered are shown in Stripe Checkout before you pay.
Payments use Stripe Managed Payments, with Stripe acting as merchant of record for those transactions. Payment details go to Stripe; we do not receive or store card numbers. Your seats become available when payment is confirmed, which may take longer for a delayed payment method.
Try first and refunds
You can try the app without a time limit. Unregistered exports carry a watermark and recordings and video exports are limited to 30 seconds. Please evaluate it before purchasing. We do not offer discretionary change-of-mind refunds.
This does not limit rights under the Australian Consumer Law, other applicable consumer law, or Stripe's applicable buyer protections. Contact support if the software fails to do what we describe or you need help with a purchase.
A full refund removes that purchase's seats. Only machines exceeding the remaining seat pool are released. An existing offline licence can continue working until its next check-in. Partial refunds do not automatically change the number of seats; any seat adjustment is agreed with support. A disputed purchase may be suspended while the dispute is resolved.
Updates, support and your files
Keep copies of captures and recordings you need. They are ordinary files on your machine; we cannot recover files we do not hold. The manual explains the app and its limits. Contact support for help with installation, registration or use.
Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections.
Privacy and changes
Our privacy policy explains what is collected. Changes to these terms are dated on this page; an existing perpetual licence is not converted into a subscription.
