Clippa
Screenshots, scrolling capture, step-by-step guides and screen recording for Windows. No subscription, no account, no cloud in sight. Everything you take stays on your machine.
One hotkey opens the crosshair. Drag a region or click a window, and it lands in the editor, on your clipboard, and in your library, all at once.
One crosshair does it all: drag a region, or click any window to grab exactly it. Multi-monitor and mixed-DPI setups capture pixel-perfect.
Arrows, shapes, freehand, highlighter, text, callouts, step numbers, blur for the private bits, crop. Undo goes all the way back.
Record any region to MP4 (H.264, encoded by Windows itself) or animated GIF. A red frame shows exactly what is being taken.
Open a recording, scrub it, mark it up, trim it, then export with the annotations burned into every frame. Blur follows moving content.
Capture what doesn't fit on screen: Clippa scrolls the window to the end and stitches it into one tall image. Real wheel input, so it works wherever a wheel does.
Do the task once. Every click becomes a numbered, captioned step, composed into one tall PNG you can paste into a wiki, a ticket or a chat.
Pull the text out of any capture with Windows' built-in OCR. Error dialogs stop being retyped.
Every capture lands as an ordinary file under Pictures\Clippa. Browse them in the app; sync them with whatever you already sync.
Lives in the tray. Ctrl+Shift+C from anywhere, or claim PrintScreen, the classic capture-tool takeover.
A seat covers one machine and never expires. Move it between machines whenever you like. Volume pricing applies automatically at checkout.
